A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the first ever Writers' & Artists' conference and for making the day such a success! I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and we'll be adding some news and views from the conference here soon.

I travelled down from Leeds for yesterdays conference and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. I learnt so much and was given practical advice that I can apply to my writing and submissions. Thank you for an event that was well organised, useful and informative. What's next?

Cat Yaffe - I'm really pleased to hear that you found it useful and thank you for commenting here at the blog. We will be holding further conferences and masterclasses, details of which will be announced on the website, so do check back again soon.
Best wishes,
Claire

Hello everyone,
it was a great pleasure to be on the conference.
I came over from Germany, to meet you nice people. I wasn´t on the list, but got the chance to hook on- thx again... (Yes - it WAS a little bit mad to be not on the list and to think to get the chance to hook on :) - the gods were with me)
So I had a great time, great learning, great pleasure and met great people - keep on offering such good practical conferences...
Greetings from Germany
Lod
Sorry for my bad english...

Hi Lod - thanks for coming all that way! We had a last-minute cancellation so we could make room for you on the day. Glad you enjoyed it.
Best wishes,
Claire

would you be able to email me when the next conference is going to be as i'm new to this. I find it hard to engage with people as my life has always been forcused on my children, but since going to the English workshop i have started writing again. It seems to me that a writers conference would benefit me greatly. And i love reading the blog. My favourite writer is stephen king but i do read a lot of other writers too thank you for reading this.
