Author Justin Cartwright talks about the inspiration for his latest novel To Heaven by Water, whether his novels are autobiographical, and how his ideas grow into novels. He also offers advice for writers trying to get published.
Justin Cartwright is the author of 12 books including:
- Booker Prize shortlisted ‘In Every Face I Meet’ (Sceptre)
- Whitbread Award winning ‘Leading the Cheers’ (Sceptre)
- The Promise of Happiness (Bloomsbury) winner of the 2005 Hawthornden Prize.
He was born in South Africa and lives in London.
