Hi, is there anybody there?

Just wondering if anybody's commenting on posted work at the mo' ? Or are we all glued to the Olympics?

I'd really appreciate some constructive comments - anyhing - good, bad or even ugly - bit worried that my new first chap' is a bit long winded - so if anyone's got a spare five minutes I'd really appreciate it:):):)

cheers

The Writer Shared Works It is all about helping each other.
So I would expect you to at least have a read and comment on some of the other contributions.
Just putting something up and expecting a response is very hopeful.
I try and put up some comments to some of the works when I have the time.
But I cannot read all the works and would expect some of the many contributors to read and comment on the work put up.
I am no expert and I do say it is just my opinion. So people should not be put off, if they have read a piece which is rubbish
and do not know what to comment. If I like it I will say I like it. If its rubbish I will not say its rubbish as I know how uber sensitive we wannabe authors are.But I will say it needs more work etc etc.
I do wish there was a like/read function on the writers shared works so you could see how many had read the shared work.
I can see at the moment there are 4 duck eggs of unread works on the shared works area.
So I would suggest you go in and take one or two and read and add a comment.
In my view if you publish a piece to be reviewed and commented on the least one can do is to return the favour.
As other writers are sitting in your exact situation.
If nobody is commenting does it it mean I am rubbish or is it always because of the Jamaican sprint team.

Most budding authors who put their work up for review are n search of praise.

I am no expert. I am not comfortable commenting on other people's work. I believe people are reluctant to comment because it is time-consuming to cover all aspects of what is before them.

If I find many faults, I usually do a constructive critique and cover a few points.

I briefly read your shared work. It is very good.

I'd just like to set the record straight here, Mr Sonderbourg - I have commented on other people's work. I would never be so rude as to assume that people would comment on my work if I hadn't at commented on other people's soI really think that your comments are completely uncalled for.
