Services: First Draft Review
An opportunity for writers in the early stages of their writing career to have their personal style identified and evaluated and to learn how their grasp of their craft is supporting their story so far.
Overview
For all but the most prolific writer, the process of laying down the actual words can be fraught with insecurity. First drafts rarely fly perfect from the fingers. For many authors, having a trusted someone to turn to as their work evolves is both welcome and necessary.
This is where First Draft Review from Writers & Artists comes in. The ambitious writer seeks objective input, preferably from someone who understands the process of taking a novel concept and clothing it in the best possible language.
This service enables you to submit a healthy tranche of 12,000-32,000 words to the scrutiny of a highly accomplished editor. They will respond with a tailored report that evaluates your progress, style and structure.
