Hello everyone , firstly I hope you are all keeping well and being creative.Â
Â
I am a screenwriter and have several scripts with known directors and producers with connections to Universal and Netflix etc. I sold seven scripts last month alone that are now making major offers of Hollywood stars. I am searching for an agent that can help me deal with contracts and get scripts to those that are unsolicited. I have done well getting contacts and scripts up till now but think it’s time to be represented.Â

Yes, you get assignment assistance for a low cost. Multiple platforms provide assignments and other academic assistance at affordable prices. Among others, one of the leading companies is British Assignments Help, to offer budget-friendly solutions. In addition, their writers have hands-on experience of years, so they never fail to deliver quality content.
I have completed the first short story (c6000 words) in what will be a five part series for ages 6 - 10 . The second is almost complete and I have outlines of the remaining parts.
Should I detail the entire story arc to agents when submitting Part One?
The story stands alone but would also work with illustrations, is this something an agent will suggest or should it be mentioned in the submission?
I am new to the submission process so all advice greatly appreciated.
Long story short - In Spring 2017 my 2yr old daughter gets cancer. My partner and I enrich her imagination throughout treatment to keep her spirits up.
Much of the silliness we concocted forms the basis for a picture book that I set to work on and, after 3 years, have now completed.
The book is designed to appeal to all kids, but to have extra meaning to kids in hospital (and their parents) giving them a little bit extra courage and hope.
If I have to self publish, I will. But I first want to try and get an agent, publisher, yadda, yadda.
Hiya all. Does anyone know anything about the posts on facebook from publishing houses for new writers to do an assessment or fill in a questionaire? Out of curiosity I almost filled one in but then decided I didn't want anchoring into some dodgy deal with anybody so I didn't bother. Apparently they assess your writing skill to see what help you need to get your writing published.
I'm a professional web designer and a writer as well. I started my first project as a freelancer this year and in the back of 2019, I was also working for the professional logo design company in Sharjah. Now I'm thinking that to start my own website to provide professional services to my clients on the freelance platform. So it is a good decision to create a new site or should I stick with freelance work?
Hello. I have a question about using the names of real products and companies in a fictional story I am writing. It is based in England and Scotland and all the characters are purely fictional, but to add a touch of reality I'd like to add some real references, some of which include; The Caledonian Sleeper (train), Pot Noodles, Land Rover, Raleigh bicycles, Dalwhinnie Distillery, Fort George (Historic Scotland). Do I need to seek permission? Are the names protected? Or can I just add them to the story without asking? Thank you in advance for your replies. ANDY
Hello to all fellow W&A and thanks for taking the time to read my post!
I am in the process of seeking representation for my non-fiction book which will tell the never-before-told full story of a very popular and influential BAFTA award winning television programme.
The USP for my book is that the story will be told by the cast, writers and crew - the people who were actually there at the time.

I have created a group for newbies and have had 8 requests to join which is great. But I'm struggling to communicate with them all at once or get something organised where we can meet up online for group introduction and chats etc. Can anyone help with how it works on here?Â
