In this online masterclass, agent Cynthia Okoye will, step by step, take you through the submission process for TV and film writers, and also share her experiences of looking for talent in this highly competitive and exciting industry.
Followed by a Q&A, this is your chance to gain insider knowledge about the process of submitting your work, and perhaps take a step closer to your writing becoming something that appears on screen.

Cynthia Okoye joined Curtis Brown in 2008 having graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Law degree. She is an agent concentrating on building a list of exciting writers and directors for film and television, so is always keen to track new talent.
Cynthia’s clients include Mickey Down (co-writer of forthcoming Industry, HBO), Shola Amoo (writer and director of The Last Tree,Matthew Hammett Knott (writer and director of Bonobo), Margrét Örnólfsdóttir (writer of The Valhalla Murders, Netflix), Esther Smith, Furquan Akhtar and many more.
