After a brilliant collaboration last year, we’re once again teaming up with library charity Book Aid International to bring you another series of masterclasses on the writing process in 2017.
With talks from some of our most talented and loved writers, covering various aspects of the writing process– from getting started to character development and crafting a gripping plot – this looks set to be another week of shared learning, expert advice and enough inspiration to leave you desperate to get back to your manuscripts.
Half of each ticket sold will go to Book Aid International, a charity that provides up to one million brand new books to libraries in Africa each year, as well as supporting libraries through projects and training. It’s an excellent cause and vital for providing reading resources and improving development.
For further information on each masterclass, see below and book your place now. Help us spread the joy of reading and inspire future children on their reading journeys with your own writing.
Book Aid International works in partnership with libraries in Africa providing books, resources and training to support an environment in which reading for pleasure, study and lifelong learning can flourish. Every year, Book Aid International provides up to one million new books, donated by UK publishers, to libraries in sub-Saharan Africa. We also provide training for librarians to ensure that readers get the very best from our donated books, and grants for purchasing locally-published books and for library refurbishments. Our work is practical, effective and empowering.
