I was shortlisted

Am I allowed to celebrate the fact that my book was shortlisted in a writing competition that is not a Writers and Artists thing?

I didn't win but just to get this far with my book The Stonewalls of My Mind is absolutely fantastic, even if I have to say it myself.

Well done. I don't know the official answer but I can't see why not. x

Of course you're not allowed to celebrate... on this site or anywhere else! Bloody cheek! You are being shown the yellow card and a subsequent infraction could lead to disbarment - if not defenestration!

Seriously though, well done, Jeremy! Isn't it time that I wrote a sentence in this comment that didn't end in an exclamation mark?

You give the rest of us hope.

    Jeremy, well done.
