Hiya all. Does anyone know anything about the posts on facebook from publishing houses for new writers to do an assessment or fill in a questionaire? Out of curiosity I almost filled one in but then decided I didn't want anchoring into some dodgy deal with anybody so I didn't bother. Apparently they assess your writing skill to see what help you need to get your writing published.

As a bit of an FB junkie I'm disappointed I haven't seen these! I got my day job from an FB application, so I like to keep an open mind, but I would check out the publishing companies to check they aren't vanity press or similar.
