Editorial service: First Draft Review

This editorial service afford writers the opportunity to have an early draft of their book assessed by an editor, who will offer advice on style and guidance on how to move forward.

It's almost unheard of for an opening draft to be considered the finished article, and our First Draft Review editorial service has been designed to offer the writer guidance before preparing to do further work on their manuscript.

This service enables you to submit a healthy tranche of 12,000-32,000 words to a highly accomplished editor. The editor will then respond by providing you with a bespoke report that offers an evaluation of your progress, style and structure.

"The feedback I got on my children's story was very detailed and I am very grateful to the experts who read them. I felt a kindness towards me as a writer. which is very encouraging." Fiona Cobb

"This service helped me with the key concerns I had about my writing and the discussion led to easier decision-making about the way forward. The report provided useful practical support and tips." Marianne Marshall
