At last, there’s a Literary Festival that allows you to participate, instead of just attending like most of the other Litfests in the UK!
Most Litfests only invite big name authors, TV celebrities or MPs and so on, to give talks or advice to writers.

So, how do you get to showcase your own talents in public?

We designed Stellium Litfest 2018 to give ordinary people in the writing, artistic and creative worlds a golden opportunity to promote their work, creative goods and services, or to network, learn and share techniques with others.

If you are an:
Author, (whether traditional, self-published or still working on your project); Proof Reader; Artist; Designer; Web or online Designer, Blogger / Vlogger; Copywriter; Photographer; Writers’ Club / Group; or involved in any way at all with the literary, artistic or creative worlds

THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU!

Have we forgotten anyone? Then tell us! We welcome people in related marketing, selling, promotional products, along with printers and other publishers, and invite them to join us and to “Spread the Word!”

Stellium Litfest is unique, and an event you’ll never forget.
it’s an annual festival, so don’t miss it!

More details:

This is our second Litfest here in Furness, just outside the Lake District National Park. We are slowly developing and our first event was a great success, depending for the most part on local authors. This year we have more writers, more workshops, more schools involved and a bigger project ["Daltonia" a drama/history project funded by HLF].

We have a schools programme including competitions and workshops, free community happenings around town and the main ticketed events, often with writers of a similar genre being interviewed in pairs.

So far we have ten authors pencilled in for the talks, three more running workshops [one each on poetry, scriptwriting and illustration], and more ideas are being developed. I will update this entry as details are confirmed.
