Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this - I'm new ! I got an email this morning after submitting my work to Austin Maccauley Publishers offering me a contributory contract for my novel. They offered "Paperback Home Sales: a royalty of TWENTY FIVE PER CENT (25%) of the net sales price. Hardback Home Sales: a royalty of TWENTY FIVE PER CENT (25%) of the net sales price. E-Book Sales: a royalty of FORTY PER CENT of the net sales price. (40%). " But I would have to pay about £2500 for the publishing. Has anyone gone through with this before?
Hi, I have been writing my story for 5 years. You see, its a story I need to tell. I am currently a teenager with hopes and aspirations to publish my story and have gone down the route of writing a novel on it. 40,000 words. I know it isn't much for a novel but its a lot for a teenager. I have the story written down to its bare bones and lots of dialogue but its not really flowing and I need to restructure the whole thing. I would really just like some advice and someone to understand how hard it actually is.
