I am an illustrator specialising in Food & Drink. I have worked on commissioned pieces for private and business clients and recently my illustrations have been commissioned and published by a well known publisher for a celebrity chef cookbook which has reached the US and other countries.
I am looking for a reputable agent to assist me in taking the next steps to approach other publishers.
Also, I would like some advise with regards to writing a cover letter to agents.
Thank you in advance.
Eli
I have recently completed my first children's book and am thrilled about sharing it with the world.
I've received offers from both Pegasus Publishers and Austin Macauley Publishers, and I'm currently evaluating their proposals. The proposed investment, approximately 2600 euros, including illustrations for my book, seems reasonable, especially considering the costs I would incur if I were to pursue self-publishing and hire an illustrator independently, which would likely double this amount.
I'm Yogesh Mahajan, a Mumbai-based children's book illustrator.
I enjoy illustrating picture books, board books, advertising illustration, packaging, game art and educational books for young children. My signature CRAYON ART STYLE is outstanding and everyone loves watching my art.
Hi all, I've written and illustrated a children's picture book and would like to copyright the main characters in the UK and USA, does anybody know how I can go about this through a reliable company? without running into lawyer consultations etc.
I'm worried sending it out to publishers and illustration agents that someone may copy the idea. They shouldn't in theory i know but it still concerns me.
