Kat Lenahan is a junior agent at Darley Anderson Children's, where she’s building a list of MG, YA and New Adult, as well as assisting Clare Wallace, working with clients like Josh Silver, Sophie Cousens and Beth Reekles. Across age groups, she is looking for stories driven by characters as much as plot – perfectly imperfect heroes, ragtag bands of friends, and characters you can’t help but root for even when they make mistakes. Her taste is also driven by an appetite for stand-out atmospheres and settings, whether that’s getting lost in the winding corridors of a gothic boarding school, the nail-biting atmosphere of a life-or-death trial, or a hyper competitive spy academy.
