Amazon (Kindle)
Includes a range of e-book readers and Kindle Fire tablet devices that allow readers to browse and download e-books from Amazon through wireless connectivity.
EPUB files
Digital book format compatible with all electronic devices and e-readers.
Indexing
Creating an ordered or alphabetical list of subjects/topics or names, giving the page number(s) of where it is referred to in the main text of the book.
Marketing
Involves creating strategies, promotional and preview material (including BLADs) for sales teams to use, organising advertising and representation to the intended market and distribution channels including booksellers. It can involve social media campaigns.
Metadata
Data that describes the content of a book to aid online discoverability - typically title, author, ISBN, key terms, description and other bibliographic information.
