Advice on Storm Sailing.

I want to get as close to accurate as possible when depicting a ship in storm conditions. I am writing from a completely uneducated standpoint and every bit of terminology and description has been pieced together from stuff i have found on the net. Any one who has a working knowledge or a historical intrest in Age of Sail/ sailing on full rig ships and can spare the time to have a look over my extract for accuracy would be greatly appreciated.

Will review in return,

S

Thank you Al, I am just about to post up a new edit of the chapter. I have worked in some previous recommendations and padded out the story line a bit. I would love to hear what you think. I always feel a bit nervous writing about something I have never actually done. It's hard to picture a description of events that you have only read about on google!

Hi,

I have spent a great many years sailing in traditional boats, and through some of the foulest weather imaginable. I would be happy to look over your work or answer any particular questions you might have.

cheers
