Do you struggle with plot and structure? Then join multi award-winning and bestselling author Caroline Green to find out how to master plot and structure in this online masterclass.
Through exercises and discussion, Caroline will guide you through how to take an idea and turn it into a book (and the many steps along the way). She'll discuss basic story structure, covering acts, peaks and troughs and what these key components of a story's structure all mean. And she'll share her advice on what to do when you hit a wall, offering practical tips to help you find your way back to the story.
From the Hero's Journey to Saving Cats, Caroline will also look at plotting guides and whether they work. And she'll introduce you to kinesthetic plotting (or why raiding the stationary cupboard might actually help you write that book)!
The session will end with a brief Q&A, so come ready with your questions.
The masterclass will take place online via Zoom. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks after the event has taken place.
