Agony Agent

Hi everyone,

I've just spent £25,00 for Agony Agent service.

I've answered to the feedback questionnaire for 'Did you feel you got your money's worth?' NO, because there's no possibility to have at least a reply to the agent.

I found the answer very professional, but indeed I have a few other clarifications that I would definitely want to submit!

You know it was £25,00!

What do you think please?

Thanks

Stefano

Stefano, this is what is offered:

'Mail

After submitting your question and making a payment, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address.

The agent will respond with a 1-2 paragraph response within 2 working days and your answer will be available to view on your Writers' & Artists' Dashboard. Please note, your response may take longer over bank holidays.'

That is not a detailed critique on offer; it's one question and an answer - and not a long one, in 1-2 paragraphs. It doesn't offer you the chance for a conversation, or even a response. In that case, your £25 got you exactly what was on offer.

As so often, it is essential to understand the terms of any contract - which is what this is - before you enter into it. Did you, for instance, get 'bespoke constructive advice' on the question you asked? You say you found the answer very professional. If so, they fulfilled the brief.

There is the possibility of a 15 minute skype chat, which may have suited you better, but it would cost you £45. The call will not be extended beyond the stated 15 minutes, so again, not a lengthy conversation, but it may have given you the opportunity to ask your next question.

I'm interested to know what you did get for twenty five pounds?
