Am I ignoring people?

by David Foster

I am bemused...

I keep getting requests for "connections" (or whatever they are called) to/from people... most of which I agree to... but I never seem to hear from anyone. I'm getting a bit concerned. Is there a communications area that I am not aware of? Is there something I should be doing to respond to a heap of accumulated "mail"?

If I have apparently ignored anyone - my apologies - I simply don't understand the set-up here.

HELP!

Someone lighten my darkness please!

David

I started adding people thinking there was some secret thing that happened if you connected, like a writers group or something.... unless it really is a secret, and we haven't got in on it yet David.

I have noticed this on other communities, I end up following hundreds and nobody follows me back.

People often connect without a particular request.

Most solutions to their questions can be found on the forums.

I have had a few requests to view shared work. I normally decline, because to do a constructive critique takes to much time. I have firm opinions, but I am not an expert.
