Anybody used Scrivener?

I'm looking for some software to try and organise my writing a bit better. At present I am simply writing in Word and adding bits in here and there when I need to but am hoping to find something that makes it easier.

I've read a review of Scrivener and it seems great but wanted to know if anyone has experience of it. Any other software recommendations greatly appreciated as well.

Thank you for your responses. I was almost ready to download it when I discover no iOS version. As I do a lot of my writing on my iPad this seems to be a significant drawback. Do any of you also write on an iPad and have found a way around this?

I downloaded a trial and it's still sat on my hard drive doing nothing so it's interesting to read others' views.

I suppose it's the effort of having to learn a new programme that's offputting when I don't have enough hours to do everything else. A bit like writing, really :D

Hi Sarah

I use Scrivener and it is everything you need all in one place. It comes with a tutorial which is about 40 mins long but it is well woth going through. I bought it once the trial period had ended. Couldn't be without it now.
