I'm unsure if this is the right place to ask but I've been linked here when asking about the best place for advice.
I'm an aspiring producer for animations, I want to bring my stories and characters to life, my only problem is because the field is so niche it's difficult to know where to even start.
I've been uploading my art online on numerous websites for around 5 years, I've got a lot of different stories written and I'm willing to change things and be very flexible in a team if I'm ever able to get a chance to produce one.
I'm asking just for some advice where to start with it all?
Lauren, I suspect that 'ideas people' for animated series don't need perfect grammar. Neither do the producers. Nobody's going to mind if you're a genius with ideas and write: '3 ETs was standing by there space ship.'
Books is a hole different kettle of fish.
That was NOT a dig at you. I merely meant to point out that animation and printed word are 2 completely different media. And each has its necessities.
Good luck with your dreams!
The kind of animations I'd like to help produce and give my ideas and designs too are cartoons, similar feel to Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, shows like that.
What niche? Are you interested in producing books or just animated films (or video games)?
I'm going to copy-and-paste a reply that I just made to another. At the very least, we could help you clear up ambiguities. Your subject line reads as if you wish to ask a newbie for advice.
That depends on your subject matter and treatment. You could do worse than sending it to La Gr@not@. But first read the guidelines:

The worst that can happen is rejection, right?
Or you might prefer to begin by looking for an agent: one who deals with [animation].
