Anybody has thoughts on what they consider the best religious novel? Something like 'Ben Hur'?

Thanks! I knew about TC's 'Great Lion of God,' ! PP is a great book too. There are Lloyd C Douglas and Morris West novels like 'The Robe,' and 'Shoes of the Fisherman.' I want to compile a detailed list for my research, if anybody has more thoughts pls let me know.

Without a doubt it has to be "Dear and Glorious Physician" by Taylor Caldwell: read it 40 years ago and found nothing to match it since.
Check out "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan. It's a classic religious allegory.
