bit confused about comments made

HI, I'm new to the site and need a few pointers please. I posted some replies to a comment and a short story, but they are not displaying on the page. Do comments go into a moderation point first?

thanks

I am chuckling as I write this. Like David I too missed the word 'more' and thought my comments weren't posting.

But unlike David it took me days before I spotted it and thankfully all my comments had posted!

Now what is it they say?

Oh yes, it's 'you can't fix stupid' !

I try so hard at times to not be but I'm afraid to say it makes no difference :-)

I appeared to have that happen to me a moment ago.

Then I noticed that at the foot of the first set of responses there is a little word "more" in blue. I hit that and gained the next page which included my entry.

These computers are seriously sneaky things!

David

PS While I know that I should prepare material in a word doc. (to gain the benefit of spelling and grammar checks I tend to be lazy on forums and enter direct. I do find that a quick "Control A" and "copy" can save an awful lot of frustration if the whole thing just vanishes at the first attempt to post.
