I don't think there was anything harsh about your first title and. like Dorry, I think it seems to be more personal than your current title.

I'm afraif I liked your 1st title. 'Becoming Nurse Kat' sounds much more like a personal story, because that is who you did become.
You say you wanted a 'softer' name. I didn't see anything 'harsh' about your 1st choice.
That title would grab me if I was in a book store, it would immediatly tell me that it was a story based a true life journey.
'Becoming Florence'.... I would look at that and it wouldn't tell me a thing.
So as I am the 1st to reply the score is currently 1-0 to 'Becoming Nurse Kat' :-)
