I was wondering if anyone thinks it's a good idea for old comments to be deleted when someone uploads a fresh piece to the site.
I find it very confusing to read readers' comments and realise that they are referring to a previous upload.
Shouldn't a new upload come with a clean comments section?
Hm, I just encountered that problem myself. Is there a reason why you are only allowed to submit one work at a time as well? I understand no-one wants to clog up the first two pages with various submissions, but could a post not encompass all the respective author has published in one thread? Or is that a logistical nightmare?

It was the case that you had to delete the old piece completely, then log out and log in again, rather than just clear the text box and re-post if you wanted to clear the comments.
I haven't posted work for ages so that might not now be the case :?
