Competition Synopsis

Hi. I'm interested in entering the competition for 'The Working Class Writers' and I was wondering if, maybe admin, could answer my question. It says in the rules they want a synopsis to match the work. Is this a full synopsis of the whole ms or is it just a synopsis on the short piece that has been sent in? Thanks.

Thanks for your quick response admin. Now I know I will start to put my synopsis together.

Hi Elsie,

Ideally, it would be a synopsis of your whole MS, just like when you submit to agents. This is to help us, and our judge, get an idea and flavour of the full novel. We appreciate that the writing sample/extract is small, and so we wanted to see how the story develops in full.

Hope this helps.

All best,
