Hi, Ive written a couple of childrens books which i am interested in having published. When it comes to me sending them off to publishers, How do i make sure nobody copies them or gives my ideas to an author they already know? how do i go about copyrighting them? Thanks.

Its not expensive and you can update your manuscript there.

The simplest and cheapest form of copyright is by registered post to your home address.

The envelope seal is date stamped at the post office. You keep the receipt wth the name, address, and date. This is your proof of copright from that date. After you sign for the registered letter, secure it in a safe place.

It is best to burn more than one disc, and then send copies to family and friends by registered post.
