Apart from reading and listening news, movies are a good source for deriving ideas, sometimes sub plots and slightly important characters generate best of the ideas in our brains.
And lastly Music, some songs have beautiful stories entwined in them, it could be good source for ideas too.
Hi there, I agree with what everyone says,find what interest you. What kind of movies do you like? What kind of music do you like? What do you like reading? I draw inspiration from the above, even from stories I hear. Its everywhere for me, I just have to look around...
