Did you help me?

At long last I have uploaded the first in my series to Kindle. There are seven books in the series and they aren't all edited to my satisfaction so there is still a way to go, but there are people here who gave me a lot of support over the years and I just wanted to tell you all I really relied on your kind words at times and if you were among those who helped me keep focus, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I would never have imagined that when I started to write this story exactly ten years ago that it would become such a huge part of my life, a part I am immensely proud of. I've been studying science for the last two years so I have less time to devote to my series, but I never leave it alone completely and holidays are devoted to the eventual completion of all seven books.

If you are fighting your way through a series, keep at it. It's the most rewarding thing you can do as a writer. It's hard work and the end is nearly always like a pin-prick of light you keep losing sight of mid-tunnel, but I don't think the sense of achievement can be matched.

Thanks again to all,

Vicki

How lovely of you, Victoria! Not sure I was one of them, but it's really good to know that you had advice here that helped you achieve your goals.

Good luck with your series!

"We'll be able to boast "With participation by VICTORIA WHITHEAR!" :)"

Well, we've already got Helen Jones AND Jane Austen... but more famous names are always welcome!
