Sneaky question!
I mean - "do you copy - to hard-copy, disc, other digital device?"
I think that you - everyone - should.
I have rummaged through some old hard copies today...
Apart from proving that my house is definitely getting smaller and that I have tons of paper stored it has shown me that I can find material that has wondered off beyond my knowing where to find it in the PC...
BUT! It has also given me an opportunity to see something of how my writing has developed - and, hopefully, improved.
All I have to do now is think about getting a warehouse...
:-)
So? Do you look back at copies of your old work? It can be very encouraging...

I have some really ancient copies and I stumbled on one only yesterday. The difference was unbelievable. I was quite sad because it was a relic from the days my Peter had a voice in the book. As I wrote I realised he wouldn't be able to keep it and removed all evidence of his thoughts. It was quite nice to hear from him again after all this time.
But what I noticed was how my writing used to wander from pillar to post with my thoughts instead of sticking to any structure. I suppose I went back through, threaded the structure in afterwards and then removed all the extraneous. I'm going to smile if anyone ever tells me my book wanders... and possibly give them the original!
