Hello Eddie. On the whole there is little demand from publishers for short stories, although you may find calls for submissions for anthologies from time to time. If you want to research agents/publishers you could either just search the web, buy a copy of Children's Writers & Artists Yearbook, or subscribe through this site to search their listings. The whole industry is highly competitive and flooded with would-be authors, so it's a dispiriting task making your individualised submissions to whatever agents/publishers look like a good fit, and then waiting for long periods for a response (if any). On the other hand, if you simply want to produce a few copies of your story collection for family and friends, it's pretty straightforward to self-publish through something like Createspace, for example. Good luck, either way. Incidentally, if you want to hone your writing skills there is a very good group in Lyme Regis (and surrounding areas). Just look up https://blackdogwritinggroup.weebly.com/ I used to go when I lived in the area and found it invaluable for support and adice. Hope that's of some help, Sue
