Grit, Passion and Mistakes

Just watched a video from YouTuber Olan Rogers who speaks about doing things that you really believe in. He says that you may have to try for a long time, but if you believe you can do something, then you can do it

So what do you think. Is it grit that makes success? Passion? Just pure talent?

Interested to see what you all think :)

For me, success means different things. At different stages of my life.

For instance, when I started writing, I had no plan, I wanted to see if I could write. To sustain a story and see it out.

When I got to the end of the first draft, I had done it. Success.

Now I am editing my novel in order to submit to agents. When I finally get to a point that I can submit that will be success number 2. Getting signed up and published? Here's hoping.

Fling yourself headlong into your 'success' well. And you won't drown for sure! xD!

My motto has been : 1. Identify your saturation point/ success point

2. Achieve them

I believe that passion , grit, vigour are all the same and are ONLY motivational mediums.

They can't be the base on which you will succeed. The way to succeed is only prolonged interest in the job/work and uninterrupted hard - work.

OMG! I am talking like a spiritual leader.... xD!

Well, I mean to say - "Try try till you succeed." and you will succeed when you are backed by passion, grit, interest vigour and so many other motivators !!
