Help and advice

Having just started up a publishing company (first appbook in March and then linked printed books for children), I need to connect with people who might be minded to help either with the journey or as advisers. Any suggestions at any level really welcome.

I suppose that when starting out, it is too easy to be a bit loose and too flexible as you are not sure exactly what you should be asking.

Be very clear about what you offer and make sure that you give each person an individual consultation from which you work out a written agreement. I hope I'm not insulting your intelligence, it's just that I've suffered from poor service because the initial consultation was missed out and the agreement left far too loose. For you, this would mean unnecessary work and disgruntled customers.

wishing you every success for the future.
