Just wondering if anybody's commenting on posted work at the mo' ? Or are we all glued to the Olympics?
I'd really appreciate some constructive comments - anyhing - good, bad or even ugly - bit worried that my new first chap' is a bit long winded - so if anyone's got a spare five minutes I'd really appreciate it:):):)
cheers

Hi Penny,
I read 'The Folks of Salty...' and enjoyed the chapter but not sure about one point with Isi'. Is she a 'normal' Smudger size (I got that sense when she vanished from the bus stop) or is she small and proportionate to birds (which I thought was possible considering the brothers).
I've just been to reread the chapter (as I usually skim through things the first time round) but couldn't find it so hope I'm remembering it correctly.
I agree with Frank and Adrian about a comment being time-consuming, considering the amount there is to take it from one piece. I try and write about my first impression.
It would be convenient to have a 'liked' button for the work alone. If you didn't like it or wanted to give advise you could leave it or comment? I suppose everyone needs encouragement :-)
Good luck with the other chapters Penny.

As I pointed out we are all very uber sensitive when it comes to our writing. My comment was directed to everybody that reads
these replies and was not meant personally. The question was "Is anybody out there" and I was giving a reply to that question.
Adrian for example asks lots of interesting and open ended questions and the replies he gets back are for everybody and not just him personally.
I do not think it was in anyway rude. As that was never my intention.
I did go in and read your work and left a reply.
And like Adrian I found it a very excellent piece of work that should be very successful when it gets published;D~
I'd just like to set the record straight here, Mr Sonderbourg - I have commented on other people's work. I would never be so rude as to assume that people would comment on my work if I hadn't at commented on other people's soI really think that your comments are completely uncalled for.
