How do you feel about the recent changes in the order of replies?

This is NOT meant as criticism of the W+A web-site team. I myself see advantages AND disadvantages to the new system of newest posts appearing at the top of the pile. I just think that they deserve some feedback. Who prefers the new system? Who prefers the way it was before? Vote here. Please keep your replies as brief as possible for easy evaluation / vote-counting. I'll begin:

I votes for the OLD system.

I vote for the old system.

I have to say I am in favour of change for lots of things as long as it is for the better, I don't feel this is

I'm now going to write my new book from the end to the beginning so that people can pick up on the thread easier and decide if they like the ending! I prefer to follow the thread from the beginning and see how comments change, how it progresses! Yes it can become a conversation but isn't that how we learn, after all the reason I am here is to learn from other peoples experience and the way this has helped me is great. I wouldn't have had the conversations with other writers that I have had had I been made to see what the latest comment was, life doesn't work that way, well it did for Benjamin Button I suppose.

The strange part comes when an author has made a comment explaining or adding to the piece they've put up, and that now disappears to the bottom of the list.

The new system keeps the thread current, but for anyone who has put up a post asking for advice, they've got to read the thread backwards. That assumes that they read them at all, of course.

Let's try this one for a while, and if it doesn't work we can ask for it to be changed back.
