Hello everyone, I just finished to write a children's story, how do I get an agent in order to be published? I have been searching but many websites say that even agents don't get submission unless referred, is that true?

Dear Clara,

A lot of agents are still taking submissions, you just have to check their websites. I think Curtis Brown are open to new authors.

Also Darly Anderson will accept new submissions http://www.darleyandersonchildrens.com/submissions

A lot of publsihers will not take a direct submission but most agents will.

Also try AM Heath http://www.amheath.com/childrens. If you email me I can give you some names and you can say Cherry Mosteshar gave you their names. I work with some good agents so it might just make then stop and look. You can email me at [email protected].

Best of luck.
