How long Agent takes to reply?

Usually they will say on their website somewhere amongst their submission guidelines how long to expect to wait. Typically anywhere from 6 - 8 weeks, even more if they are particularly swamped. I am still waiting after six weeks since my last submission. It is frustrating, especially when they don't acknowledge receipt, even as in my case when submitted by email. An automated reply doesn't cost anything. In the mean time, best get on with your next book ;)
