Your style tends to remain stable. Your matureness in writing and sensibility may increase, the quality of writing should improve.... :)

I am 17 and I guess my writing isn't what it was when I was 13... But my style is quite the same!! :)

Whether right or wrong, when I started writing I wanted to impress my readers with my word knowledge and style. Now I've learnt that the story I want to tell is all-important and I endeavour to remove my ego from my writing as much as possible. I find that if my reader has to stop to look up in a dictionary some obscure word I've used, then I might lose that reader if I'm not careful.

Of course, that doesn't have to take years to learn and may have been just an error on my part! I'm not the fastest of learners! The key (for me) is to keep learning the craft and keep writing at every opportunity. And as Jonathan has wisely pointed out - don't stop as re-starting is blooming hard work!

You certainly won't have to worry about it! Your writing will change to reflect your own changing experiences and perceptions, which I suspect is a life-long thing. Enjoy!
