Thanks guys, I'm aware I'm not the first (I doubt I'll be the last) to ask this but as I'm new to this site I'm still trying to find my way around it and have no idea how to look for previously asked q's of the same subject and the answers to them.so it's easier to just ask! BTW I doubt I'll ever be able to look for previous q's as my computer skills are close to non-existent!
I dealt with this issue at length in Q&A # 2171. Long story short: I believe that the price in the UK is ca. £75/version. (E-book, hardback, paperback would each have a different ISBN.)
There is NO discount for bulk orders. (i.e. If you self-publish 120 books, you pay 120 x £75.)
Only REGISTERED publishers get discounts. (Large publishers pay maybe 20p per ISBN.)
And the ISBN agency in each country has a monopoly, so you can't shop around for a better deal.
As a small publisher (registered in Germany), I pay about 2.50€ per version.

I just re-read that Q&A 2171. Someone answered that self-publishers in the UK CAN order lots of 10 at a cheaper rate. In Germany, you can't.
