Joy

Hello, I posted my story just now, who else?

Beaton, I've just read the small print of the "Joy" competition.

Paragraph 5, Section 2, clearly states that you need to include at least two different words to be eligible. Sorry, but it looks like I'm still in with a chance.

However, just to make sure I'll win I'm now going to submit another entry. This one will be called, "Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy, oh Joy!"

The body content will follow along a similar, but altogether different path. I'll give the first paragraph away here, I'm sure they won't mind.

"Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy, Oh Joy!" said Joy.

It's about a young girl called Joy who just doesn't seem to be able to stop saying her name out loud, everywhere she goes.

After I win I've decided to expand it into a full length book and, too be honest, I'll be very surprised if it doesn't win the Booker Prize for outstanding literature.

But anyway, good luck everyone (you're going to need it)!

Ah, I see that it was YOU Beaton who had the idea to write "Joy" 2000 times. Well yes, you've definitely won. Congrats! I only wish I'd thought of it myself. Such a good idea!
