Good afternoon everyone,
Could I submit partially finished work to a literary agent?
My second book is merely halfway completed but I have enough to give an agent a general idea of whats going on and where I'm intending on taking the story.
Thanks

David, you seem impatient to submit to an Agent.
What if an agent likes your work and asks for a copy of the full manuscript, or gives you a deadline to complete your manuscript. A danger could arise of you rushing to cross the finish line in your excitement, and submitting an error-ridden manuscript.
David, I have no doubt that on completion of your first draft , you will consider making many changes. You may find that you need to sharpen the dialogue, intensify the prose, make cuts, add necessary add-ons, do minor rewrites, add a scene or two, iron out weaknesses and errors.
David, my tip is too wait until you have completed the final edit of your novel. Editing a novel is a long exhausting process. It is mind-bendingly hard with many head-scratching moments. Nothing should be left to chance.
means, not mean as... Editing button needed!
Jimmy, I'm nearly there. Decided to add a twist in the last chapter which mean as adding some pages and changing others, but I reckon in two weeks I'll be able to read a whole unblemished copy. Thanks for asking and keeping me on my toes!
