To many ideas

Hi Writers,

I was wondering whether it was normally to get around the half way mark of writing a novel and then stopping and coming up with something better and begin writting that instead. I hope this has happened to other people and not just me. I always find that when I think "This is a great idea," and then i'm like "Oh hey, this idea is much better," ............. See what I mean :/

Thanks for understanding guys, I seriously thought I was wasting time when I kept writing new things instead of sticking to one thing, but now I know i'm not the only one I can relax a little and write the best idea that comes to me.

I have found myself writing notes and ideas everywhere- in my phone, on scrap paper, notebooks etc. I find myself continuously coming up with ideas. Not only for new stories but for ideas to use in my current piece of writing. I am limited writing experience but I would certainly recommend writing all your ideas down when they come to you!

Ya I see. I think that is normal! a good writer doesn't have a specific idea. the idea is to come when they have to come and it can be in the beginning or at the end know what I mean?

don't bother with that and shove the best ideas that you have in your book! :-)

Hope I help
