Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

I'm looking forward to spending Christmas with my Brother's family. I hope they like the presents I got each of them. I bought them months in advance.

How are you going to spend Christmas?

We'll be on our own this Christmas for the first time in 30-odd years as our parents are all deceased and daughter's going to her partner's parents this year. A change is as good as a rest!

Apart from that it'll be business as usual - alarm going off at 6.30, turn horses out and muck out stables while the dog exercises himself first thing in the morning, then a nice quiet day before getting the nags back in late afternoon.

Hopefully the excitement's already over for this year - the car was written off in an accident late Saturday night. Bit of an unwanted birthday present, but thankfully no-one was injured which is the main thing.

Happy Christmas, everyone! :D

Have a very happy Christmas with your family, Adrian. I'm sure they'll love your gifts.

We will be here in Brittany - not keen on travelling anywhere at this time of year. We'll skype scattered family, and have a quiet time. Having spent one Christmas with no electricity here after severe storms, when we discovered the pleasures of silence and candlelight, we may do the same again (though safe in the knowledge that the power is there if we need it!).

However you all spend Christmas and the end of the year, may it be peaceful and enjoyable.
