I am thinking about writing a book about my life. but don't know where to start any ideas

Hi Sharon - is there any particular part of your life that you want to cover, or the whole thing?
I wrote a memoir about two years of my life and started just by writing down scenes that I could remember. Then I found that the book flowed from there.
I think the hardest thing is deciding how strict you are going to be with your memories and how much artistic license you are going to take. For instance, when writing a novel, it is quite easy to shape as you want, but a memoir of one's life doesn't necessarily fall into a convenient opening, building, climatic and ending sequence!
