I see no reason why you can't but I would give the terms and conditions a quick read first.
Even if it is against the TAC it is extremely unlikely that the admins would find your profile, read your poetry and ban you over it, at worst they could warn you and ask for it to be removed. Chances of them seeing poetry are very slim.
