Has anyone else noticed they are not getting reward points for answering questions? I know there's a daily limit, but I've received nothing for the last four answers I've given, spread over the last week. I get the thumbs-up points, though. Be interesting to see if I get points for posting this question!
typo: somethings should have been something's.
Not easy using a computer where the ' key produces a -, and to produce the ', I press the key for [degrees] - as in Celsius or Fahrenheit. How to get the [degrees] sign (also used in Spanish for ordinal numbers) is anybody's guess.
And no, they're not the only ones: almost ALL the punctuation signs/keys are skewed. With - thank Gates - the , ; . and : in the right places. Also the [ and ], which somewhat explains why I sometimes use them instead of ¿ and ? [I mean ( and ).]
I can't be sure WHERE I'm missing out, but I certainly am not getting all the points due to me. If I contribute several comments and/or got thumbs up over 2 days, and at the end of the 2nd day my total is the same as at the beginning of the 1st... well, somethings not working.
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind people not JUST to type: "thanks for your answer, it really helped", or "I agree with Jo Bliggs", but to click on the thumbs up symbol below the comment that you liked so much. That way, people who take the trouble to give good advice or helpful feedback not only get your pat on the back... they also get points which will help them win benefits. And those points cost YOU nothing but the energy it takes to press once on your computer mouse. (And if THAT tires you out, maybe you're on the wrong web-site.)
I noticed that but I'm not bothered, because I've got thousands of points that I'll never use.
