Reward points system - how does it work?

I've noticed that my points total doesn't always change when I've posted a comment. Is there some kind of daily limit?

I am not always rewarded with points when I post. But I am not concerned about reward points. I don't believe I will ever use the thousands of points that I have accumulated.

However, reward points are a good way to attract and encourage members to post.

It is a good system because the forums have become busier. Apart from the regular posters, I see more new names posting comments and asking questions, everyday.

I love the diversity of opinions on this site.

Hi DD and Dawud,

I've found this is the only writing site that gives you points, with very tangible rewards!

If you do have problems the W&A team tend to be very helpful (although I'm not sure I'd name them in the comments perhaps..).

Best regards,

Cressida

Hi, D D. I have also experienced failures to allocate my Rewards Points; however, after an email I sent to [email protected] went unanswered, I told Ellie Gibbons, who possibly posted the above response to your question, and she said that if I tell her which of my activities went unrewarded, then she will allocate the points retrospectively. I think the main learning point for me is to record any and all activities myself so that, if and when this problem occurs in future, I will have at least one leg to stand on. Keep well, Dawud.
