Sales and Distribution question #4

If a self-publishing provider makes an e-book available through other retailers, as well as their own website, does the author have to pay royalties to both?

Replies

Not always, but you should definitely check before you commit. Some providers will take a percentage of the royalties, and you will also have to pay royalties to the other retailers.
