self publishing

I have been asked by someone to ask if anyone here can recommend a good self publisher she can trust. She is not looking for the publisher to market the books as she is a speaker travelling all over the world and already has a wide readership. The publisher she uses doesn't seem to suite for some reason.

Or is there another way of getting her books professionally printed, I am not sure if she requires the services of an editor also.

Many thanks regards Paul.

I used www.feedaread.com for my first book.

You have to provide an edited and suitably formatted manuscript, as well as cover art (though they do generic covers which might suit an academic work) but I found their prices reasonable and quality (printed by Lightning Source) absolutely fine.

It's a POD service so you're not forced into buying large stocks to keep the price down, and they do a distribution deal into all major wholesalers and online sellers, though that's an annual fee. Plus they've started to supply fairly reasonably priced hardbacks if that's what's needed.
