I think I remember seeing something in the t&c which stated that works published elsewhere cannot be shared here. What about if something is shared here first, can it be self-published later on say-Lulu?

Hi Robert,
You own any work posted on here. If you wanted to enter that work into a competition, it could be judged as having been published - it has appeared in the public domain - and therefore could contravene the rules.
If you want to publish your work after it's been seen here, clear it with the publisher; but if you're self-publishing, that publisher is you. I don'y know what Lulu's rules are, so check first.
